  1. Why not just get a regular teaching credential instead of the BS in Teacher Education? Do you want to teach college?

  2. You probably do not want a masters yet.  It is usually easier to work on the masters degree after you have a job.  Sounds weird but when you are hired they want the cheapest person they  can get that is qualified.  They do not want an over qualified person that they have to pay more to do the same job.  So, get your bachelors degree, get your job, and then check into some things in your district.  Some schools who host student teachers get vouchers for university hours that their teachers can use.  Check with your principal to see if any teachers in the building would be willing to give up theirs (some do because they already have their masters) and usually the principal has these vouchers as well.  Good Luck!!

  3. The BA's in both is good enough.  To be honest it is hard to find math and science teachers (hence loan forgiveness for grads who decide to teach in those areas b/c of hardships) so you really shouldn't have any problems.
