  1. yes you will, with the right eating habits and workout- it wont just come off unless you work at it. congrats on baby (38lbs is not a lot btw)

  2. You are still pregnant..chill.  Take up a mommy and me clas to burn off extra weight.  I think you will be just fine.  Breastfeeding helps.

  3. yeah you should be able to with some working out and eating heathly it should be no problem dont get discouraged if it doesnt happen as fast as you would like it to. it takes a little time but then agian it's different for everyone

  4. you will be able t go back close to your shape before.go to the gym, consult a dietician, control your food intake

  5. With dedication and work. Some of that will come off when your baby is born, but it's going to take some work to get back where you were. Just don't try to breastfeed and diet at the same time. That will adversely affect your milk production. Nice thing about breastfeeding is that you burn a lot of calories. I actually went down to my pre-pregnancy size almost immediately (I only gained about 30lbs and a lot of that was from water retention) while breastfeeding. I starting gaining weight after I stopped BF my little guy. Good luck!

  6. you look young you will be fine you may even get a better body

  7. you don't look like you gained that much. i just turned 25. i had my baby this past january. i weigh 115 and when i got pregnant, my last checkup at the doctor's was at 40 weeks and i weighed 130. so i gained 15 pounds. the average is from 25-35 i believe, but my normal weigth is 105....so that's what married does to you..hahaha. anyway. after i had my baby, when the first month was over i was back to 115. i think it had to do with my diet. and you do loose a lot of water weight too. just hours after i had baby, my tummy felt small again, just that now it had a lot of loose skin. anyway. i was on a rice and boiled chicken diet. for the whole first month. and i got back to 115. and since then...my baby is a little over 6 months now, i'm down to 110. and i hope to lose another 5 or 10 pounds to get to my pre married weight. hahaha just work out, eat right of course and you should be able to get back to your size. no guarantee that you will loose that extra skin, that's really hard to loose...i'm still working on toning that belly..good luck and congrats!!

  8. GIRL why are you worrying about that right now! i am 19 i was 5'7  125lbs when i got pregnant, i gained at least 40 lbs, i was 170lbs....my son is 5 months now, and i wight around 134 or so...i pretty much lost it all and i feel i look great no one believes i had a baby...and i'm confident i will get rid of that 10 too. BUT why are you so worried about it, you are going to be ver disappointed if in 2 months you dont have your shape back because i sure didnt. and some girls never get exactly the way they were but thats what happens when you choose to have a baby.

  9. Yes of course you will be able to get the wright off but relax and enjoy your baby before worrying to much about dropping the weight

  10. I lost most of my baby weight almost immediately by breastfeeding. My bestfriend had trouble losing any of hers though. So she would walk with the baby in the stroller everyday. She lost the weight within a few months. Just stay active once you are fully recovered and if you choose to breastfeed that really does help too.

  11. first off...you are a total cutie (in a non sexual way) that baby bump is so cute...

second...everyone has totally different bodies so there is NO telling how your body will react.  Some loose all the weight by just breastfeeding...some (like me) gain weight while breastfeeding.

If this is your first kid then it might be a little easier than with your 2nd, 3rd more more.

my sister in law lost all her weight because she was constantly chasing her son (he started walking/running at 10 months).

Everyone told me...the weight will come off if you breastfeed, don't believe it.  If you are walking already, just keep it up.  If you have a baby carrier strap the baby on and go out (never run with a baby in a baby carrier it can cause shaken baby syndrom).  This works great if the baby is fussy and won't stop crying.  The rhythum of my steps, breathing, elavated heart rate, and the fresh air all seem to put my baby to sleep fast.  The spell check stopped working so sorry for the misspellings

I was more hungry, ate more, and gained 5 pounds after my daughter was born.  I was back to pre baby weight two years after she was born (but I wasn't exercising constantly or eating correctly...i had food cravings for S'mores after she was born).  I had a c-section and came out of the hopital 3 pounds heavier then when I went in (lots of that was from the medication caused water retention--so I did loose about 15 pounds in the first month---but then gained 5 back...totally sucked!)

If you have a c-section your body will also heal differently.  I wasn't planning one, but had one with my first.  I held weight ALL over-mostly in my tummy--but my second one was a vaginal birth and I am only holding weight in my tummy and not the whole body like before.

You will be tired and just want to play with your baby for a while so don't stress about the weight, and don't limit your food intake (well make sure you eat good stuff of course) if you breastfeed.

there are lots of great sources for new moms and exercises.  I like the videos where you use your baby as part of the exercise.  You get stronger as your baby grows...squats while holding a 7 pound baby are good...but in 3 months...squats with a 15-20+ baby will really get you going.  Start while they are really little or else they might be too heavy for you to do the exercises with.

38 pounds might be a little too much according to the doctors, but were you a little underweight to start with?  I always gained about 35-40 and my doctors never said anything, (I started both at about 125 pounds-I am 5'5") except to eat good foods.

Keep Consistant in exercise, eat good foods and you will be fine

    Good Luck.

  12. youll be fine

  13. You're pregnant.. You're supposed to gain weight..

  14. Most women can get back to their pre pregnancy size within three months of giving birth, sometimes even thinner. If you breastfeed, you'll usually end up thinner than if you formula feed.

Right away, during delivery, you'll drop about 12-15 lbs of baby, placenta, fluids, and blood. After that, your body will start letting you lose water weight. Remember, your body has been piling up extra water and fat just in case you starve during the pregnancy. Once the baby is out, it will use that extra fat to make breastmilk. That's why breastfeeding is important.
