Ok, I'm 17 [18, april next year].

I want to get child support from the father and only have a limited amount of information. His first&last name.. i know he turns 20 this nov [dont know exact day].. Highschool he graduated at. I know two places he's lived in but only have the street names & the houses wern't even under his name.............. Is that enough information to track him down? Also his cousin said he supposedly moved "far away" and doesnt know where... Typical.

If that is enough info... I was wondering, what if he refused to get a paternity test and show up to court?.... ? then i wont be able to get sh*T?! .. its unfair ! financial help is the least he can F*cking contribute..

  1. he cant refuse a test if its court ordered.......and yes you would get child support if he is the father(though that dont guarantee he will pay it)

  2. It's not really enough to find him, but it's enough to start a case. he can't refuse a court-ordered paternity test. You have to find him first, good luck. I never found an ex-husband of mine and the baby is 26 and I had a social security number.

  3. Go to your local regional Child Support office. They are awesome at tracking down people. If you provide them with the information, they can find him. If he refuses a paternity test and does not show up for court, he can go to jail for that. If he has any brains, or talks to any legal professional, he will do both.

    Good luck!

  4. You know his name and his cousin? I think you have plenty of info to get started. Ask the poice if they can help you ... depending on ages, they might even believe that a crime was committed. If the police get involved, they will find him in about 2 days.
