Will I be able to go to a good college with these grades/extracurriculars??

Question

I am going to be a high school sophomore this year..seriously stressing about getting into a good college. Is the soph. year usually a better year than freshman year as far as grades for most ppl?

Ok here is what I did freshman year...

GPA- 3.69

Extracurriculars-- Band, Choir, Volleyball, Ski team, Track

Community-- Volunteers at humane society and hospital, did community service cleanup day

SO how many students in high school will do the same as u do ? what is your special  advantage?I guess there are a lot of people  can have your GPA and Extracurriculars and your extracurriculars are not intersting and attractive .

     My advice ,u had better go abroad and learn some new .i am from china and saw some american high school go to china and not learning chinese ,but as exchange student in chinese high school and study and live with chinese student and chinese family and i bet it is a good way to distinguish yourself .
