I am replacing the head gasket on my 1998 2.4L stratus, and dont want to mess with removing the rocker arm/rocker arm shaft assemblies. Can I still get the head bolts out, or not?

  1. don't quote me on this but i think you will have to remove the rocker Assembly just don't remove or lose the spacers on top of valves

  2. you can get the bolts out, but what about the pushrods, you have a chance of bending them and you wont be able to install them, when you get the head back on, unless you loosen the rockers.
