I'm in the central time zone of America,will I be able to see the solar eclipse on August 1st?

  1. Unfortunately, no. The eclipse is going to be visible from northeastern Canada, the Arctic Ocean, Russia and finally China.


  2. Probably not.  The partial eclipse is supposed to be visible from the Eastern US.  If you are at the far eastern part of the Central time zone, you might.  It is supposed to be at 9:18 PM GMT.

  3. So it seems we are all asking the same question! Sadly, there is one answer. NO :(

    You will only be able to see the eclipse if you live in northern Maine. It stinks, but it's true. Hopefully next time it can be seen from everywhere in the USA!
