Will I be able to sell my horse, and for how much?

I have a 15.2h OTTB mare. She is green. She is a very pretty horse, chestnut with a nice face.

She is a pretty good mover with good ground manners, except she is slightly bad with the farrier. She has been at a few hunter shows and was quite successful.

She is in pro training for a month. Afterwards I would like to sell her, because I don't have enough time to bring her along.

I am on the East coast. How much should I sell her for, and do you think I will find a buyer?

I would say around $2000-$2500 because she is green broke. The horse market is really low so you might have a little trouble finding a buyer. But if she is fully broke by the time you intend to sell her, I would say around $3000 -$3500

I hate to be bluntly honest, but you can get OTTB for under $1000, and with professional training in one sport for under $1800.00.  Height has a lot to do with jumping, if people want to go over 3FT. they typically look for something over 16hh.  Every horse has things they don't like so one vice isn't a big problem.  I would say by what you have said I honestly wouldn't ask over $1800.00 and you should find a buyer

I think if you market her correctly, take good pictures and emphasize her performance record, you can probably get more than you might think.  Most people want a horse that is already doing what they want to do, so again, show her in training, show her performance record, and really learn the type of person who is likely to buy her (talk to the trainer) and you'll have a much better  chance of successfully selling her at a reasonable price.  The trainer should have some idea of her value, and might even know someone who would like such a horse.

any pics? and what's her age? age is big with price. Overall she sounds good...all horses have there things they need to work on like with the farrier. Because she is still green I wouldn't go too high so mabey around $3500? Again...there are still some missing pieces to her story..so idk!
