Will I be allowed to choose the hospital I want to give birth in?

There is a hospital about 5 minutes from my house here in Hillsdale, but I want to switch my doctor to an obgyn in Coldwater, about 45 minutes away. Will I have to go to the Coldwater hospital when I go into labor (my baby will be born in December, so roads may be snowy), or will I be able to go to Hillsdale hospital, here by me? What are my choices?

depends on where your Dr goes and what hospitals are in your insurance's network. You may be allowed to choose, maybe not, check with your insurance company and your Dr

You'll have to talk to your doctor.  If you want to give birth at the close hospital you may just have to deal with whatever doctor you get if your doctor does not get there in time or something.
