If my fax machine allows me to fax to long distance numbers without charge, Does that mean that I can call long distance numbers without charge? I have Qwest if that makes a difference.

  1. Ok first of all, your long distance calling has nothing to do with the device. Your fax machine cant make calls free to long distance numbers. Your line could include free long distance calls and if that is the case then yes, call away.

  2. as long as it is the same line then it should be fine. but if there is a limit on the long distance minutes then i wouldnt recomend it unless you know what that limit is and how many minutes you have left.

it goes by the amount of time it takes to transmit the fax to the long distance number.

but you will not be charged long distance unless you go over the limit that has been set up.

be careful because it might just be a pay per use thing to.

just call qwest and find out what your plan for fax includes.
