Will I be charged with possession of a Controlled substance?

My friend and I were driving and were pulled over and the cops seized about 5 grams of pot from us. My friend was charged with possession of a controlled substance because he was the one driving however the pot was mine. Now his parents have called the constable saying the pot was mine and im going in to be a witness and say it wasnt his pot. Will the cop be able to charge me with anything even though the incident happened 24 hours ago.... were both 18 and living in ontario

You will be charged.  Don't let your friend take the rap for something you did.  Call an attorney and plead the 5.  You can testify that it was not his without claiming ownership of it.

Yes, Actually, i'm surprised that you didnt get charged for it as well, considering you were in the car. But even if it is yours, the driver will still charged all the same.

Just the other day, we got pulled over and the driver had weed in the car, and all 4 of us got arrested for it, because we were in the car with the marijuanna.

But dont let them keep you from smoking it =]
