im going snowboarding in a little while and got burton thermal pants and shirt for christmas and was wondering if the thermal pants are enough to keep me warm under my snowboard pants or should i wear sweatpants too under them..?

  1. no need for sweat pants. . . . . with the thermals and a pair of snowboard pants you'll be fine.

  3. No, no sweatpants... in fact, dont wear any cotton at all - if it gets wet (from snow, sweat, etc.) - it'll stay wet, it'll freeze and you'll get cold.

    Burton gets knocked for their prices, but they make really good gear.

    Enjoy the slopes!

  4. Don't wear cotton at all, not even underwear. The Burton 1st Layer and the jacket and pant will be just fine. The1st Layer is made to wick away sweat from your body to cool it down and keep it dry cause your gonna sweat big time snowboarding and the pants and jacket will keep you warm.

  5. don't wear sweatpants, just the thermal underwear (it's not pants, it's UNDERWEAR). i mean, that's what it's for, eh?
