I am starting dance classes this fall, and I don't know if I'll do very well. The dance classes I'm doing are Ballet, Tap, and Hip-hop.I did dance for two years awhile back, but then I started cheering. I've been cheerleading for eight years, and it involves a lot of dancing , but I'm not sure if I'll be very good at the ballet. My friend has been dancing her whole life, and she told me that I'm a natural, but I'm not so sure. Do you think I should try the class?

  1. I would definitely try it! It might take some time to get used to the differences between cheerleading and dancing, but it's a lot of fun. Besides, what can it hurt to try? You'll never know what you might be missing out on if you don't try it!

  2.   U HAVE NO LIFE  ASKIN  PEOPLE U DONT KNOW  4 ADVICE  WHEN URE BEST FRIEND  IS SAYIN URE  A NATURAL  ,  !!!!!    DUHHHHHHHHHHH     IF WANT TO DANCE  DO IT    IF  NOT   DONT    THAT SIMPLE ,, ,, ,, , ,

  3. you should take the dance classes. all of them. dancing is so fun and i used to cheer and dance. it is a transition but a really fun one. just a tip ballet is very self disciplined so be ready!

  4. Yes, I would definitely recommend ballet. It will help you improve your cheerleading as well. There are many things in common with cheerleading and ballet....flexibility being one of them.

I know several girls who used to take ballet who transitioned into cheerleading after a while. The two sports are connected so I think you'll do very well transitioning from cheerleading to ballet.
