I'm going on an international flight and I want to bring my laptop in its original box. Will I be taxed if I bring it as a carry-on or if it is in my checked luggage?

  1. Well, I'd bring it as a carry on. No knowing what could happen to it as your luggage.

I've never heard of anything being 'taxed' for carry-ons.

And, I don't think you'd have a problem bringing it on in the original box.

They make you take computers out of your bag durring security, so you'd take it out of the box.
