Will I catch on to horse riding again?

I use to go riding about 3-4 years ago but I had to stop because I move. Will I find it really difficult or will I eventually catch on? I'm starting again soon!

I treated my 23yr old girlfriend to horse riding for her birthday and she hadn't rode since she was 17 and she completely got back into it within minutes.

Needless to say i was terrible!

It's kinda like riding a bike, you really never forget, I went through the same thing.

yes you should be able to catch on - if you run very fast

You'll catch on.  Once you start learning it over, it will come back to you.  I haven't actually riden a horse, here's where my theory comes from.  

Last year i tried the trombone.  Then i just stopped for a while, then i started agian last year, but i thought i forgot EVERYTHING so i gave up, i mean, i wanted an instrument i would remember.  Then, this year, just last week, i started learning again, and i'm learning fast because i'm learning it over, just being reminded, yesterday i actually played in jazz band and i sucked, but that made me try harder, i took it home and practiced the song we just got, and i could play it.  I'll be ok by next week because i'm having some issues sight reading. (playing music the first time you see it.)  Good luck and have fun.

i have the same question really i sold my horse when i was 16 im now 24 and would love to start it up again

i was quite an advanced rider so would assume after a few months would pick it up again i think it all depends on how advanced you were at the time its just like riding a bike i would of thought you never forget do you

It might take you a lesson or two to get back in the swing of it. You will be able to do it no prob.
