Will I connect with anyone at Pepperdine University?

I am a bohemian, think outside of the box type of person. I don't think I fit a certain cookie cutter mold. I am a Christian. I have heard Pepperdine University has a lot of "abercrombie and fitch" type of people, which I have absolutely nothing wrong with, but I was wondering if their are artsy, edgy people at the school too? Are there only a few? Are there a lot? I am sorry if this sounds judgmental or harsh. Thank you!

This depends on you.  If you can keep your mind open and respect the differences in culture and upbringing, you are likely to connect well.

Which campus will you be on most?  There is more than one.  You have to understand the culture of the clientele.  You as students are viewed as clientele b/c it is a private, ivy league school and is run like a for-profit organization.  There are all types there.  Even in the artsy-set, there is shallowness, backstabbing, and envy.  It is the nature of competition no matter what the content.  So yes, there are many people who attend Pepperdine b/c they have money (family money, that is).  So, what!  As far as being Christian, there are lots of like-minded individuals on campus.
