Will I damage my lawn if I mow while its hot

I need to mow my lawn. And I would like to do it right now. Problem is I live in Texas and its about 100 degrees right now. And I wont have a chance to do it this weekend. Will this damage my lawn

  1. Probably so. If it hasnt rained any and it is hot then your probably gonna end up with dead grass unless you mow it and turn around and water it.
