Will I damage my lawn

I need to mow my lawn. And I would like to do it right now. Problem is I live in Texas and its about 100 degrees right now. And I wont have a chance to do it this weekend. Will this damage my lawn

  1. Just raise your lawn mower to it's highest height and water your lawn before you leave.  It should be fine.


  2. It's 100 here in Colorado too it won't hurt it as long as you water when you're done and don't cut it too short try 2.5"

  4. Redeye I would not Mow if it is 100 degrees outside, It will not hurt your grass but it can hurt you.  Your grass is not growing and you do not need to be out working in all that heat.

  5. Yes, mow your yard. If you cut off too much it will be brown  and be sure and water afterwards. If the grass is really high before and is lying down because of lack of water, you might need to water before and give it a chance to stand back up . You can mow your grass every couple of weeks  or even longer in between if your neighbors don't care and it doesn't hurt it  at all.
