Question:

Will I enjoy Eurodisney?

Planning to be in Paris for a conference in January 09 15th & 16th. They are providing accommodation+an extra 2 nights in the weekend for sight-seeing etc. I will be doing stuff like the Eiffel tower, Louvre etc in that weekend.

I do not want to go all the way to Paris (I live in New Zealand) just for 4 days, so I want to stay for longer time.

I will be 18 years old, a solo traveller and I want to go to Eurodisney (went to Disneyland, Anahiem when I was 8 years old - loved it).

Problem is, I'm not sure if I will enjoy it... for four reasons...

1. My age... will I be too old for that atmosphere? Will it just disappoint me after the fond memories I had when I was a little child?

2. Going alone.. is it still fun if you go there alone?

3. Lines! I am kinda glad that I'm going in winter. I don't mind the cold, all I gotta do is wrap up, put on a poncho if it rains... But will there still be huge Lines?

4. Going in winter... will the rides still be open? Will the characters be out?

Thanks

  1. I went their when i was 10 or 11 and it was a wonderful place. Also the louvre was cool too, but going alone will not be as much fun as going with family friend ect. but have fun!!!

  2. If you are in Paris, France the last thing you want to see is EuroDisney. Please! Go to Versailles, the Musee D'Orsay, take a boat tour on the Senna, have lunch and dinner at the Latin Quarter, visit Les Invalides, the cafés, the Louvre again, etc. And if you have visited Disney in LA you will be terribly dissapointed. Have fun!

  3. Is that a real question? You will be in Europe!!! In Europe you can have fun even after you arrive after so many hours spending on the flight. Being there just gives you energy to go and explore. Ahhhh Europe, Europe!!
