Question:

Will I ever find someone special? ?

It seems no one is interested in trans people for a real relationship. It seems like people just think we're this mystical creature from outer space or something and should only be viewed in awe or as a sexual curiosity/fetish to explore. And even then, we're not seen as our true selves, we're seen for what's between our legs.

It's hurtful to feel dehumanized. :(

Please, someone restore my faith in humanity.

I'm FTM and lonely.

  1. We are out there. I am pansexual so I don't really care about gender, but I go through almost the same thing. People see one thing they don't get and then I am no longer worth it. I know it is not what you want to hear, but you just have to keep trying.

Also being trans is hard for some to accept fully. A lot of people may be embarrassed to ask you your orientation, but even more it makes them question their's. For a lot of people it is okay to have s*x with a transgendered person, but to be in a relationship with one is more they can handle, unless they can come to terms with feelings most can't face.

  2. My partner is FTM and the best thing that ever happened to me. I used to date butches, (yep I'm a femme L*****n) but then I fell for my honey bear and 'bam' case closed I'm q***r. Our relationship is 'real', mostly the dull mundane kind of realness with bits of spice in between and a lot of hugs love and support. we have the house the kid the cat and nosy but well meaning extended family and friends. You will find some one, have no doubt. Just look for some one with common interests and a kickarse personality, cuz beauty fades and dumb is forever.

    good things to you!

  3. I'm sorry you're feeling so sad. I think many of us have times when we feel defeated, and completely unloved. I'm sure you'll find a mate someday, but in the meantime try to surround yourself with people who are encouraging and loving, and who understand whatyou're going through.

    Huge hug.

  4. I don't mean this to be unkind, but the simple fact is that a lot of people find s*x-changes to be rather creepy.  The whole surgical butchery of the genitalia and then reconstruction of it is just something that makes a lot of people uncomfortable.

  5. i duno wat FTM means but you will probly find some 1 who cares for you...if ur a guy whos now a girl then a girl whos now a guy might fall in love with u or vice versa and some people who are not trans might love you also....GL!!!
