lt's ok to want to be alone from time to time, just find a way to do it without offending them if you actually care about they're feelings, and to answer your question... only you know how much time you spend on the internet, there are people out there who have internet addictions you know, just make it a point to spend more time with them everyday.

It depends on how strong your relationships are with your family members. If you have strong bonds, then it'd be fine to spend some time on the internet. However, if you're spending more and more time on the internet, then you should stop to contain and maintain your strong bonds with your family. If your relationships are weak, maybe you should somehow balance the time you spend with your family and the internet. I personally just go on the internet whenever I have free time, and my family is busy with their business.
