Okay so.. I got a note from the nurse today saying I need to take a Measles shot, but the thing is I already take it but the nurse say it doesn't count since I was suppose to take it after I turn one year old. I took the shoot 2 month before I turn 1 so she say it doesn't count.. Is that true? So then my parents took me to get the shoot but it doesn't open till tomorrow at 10.. so Is it alright if I went to school and have my parents pick me at 10 to take me to take the shoot? The note says if I don't took the shoot today, I won't be able to go to school until I took it.. So is it alright if I go to school tomorrow or will I get stop and have me call home to a have my parents pick up? Need teachers or other people that can answer this.. Thx!!

  1. No, that will keep remind it you for a while, there is also a waiver your parents can sign, that you don't do shots and they that responsibility.

  2. Most likely, explain the situation to them or have your parents talk to them if they are having a problem with it.

  3. You kinda don't make sense with your sentences lol.

But from what I understood from it, No you can't go to school until you take your shot. If the note said, you can't come to school without the measle shot, then you need to go to the Doctors as soon as possible. get the shot then go back to school right after.

Also, if your family doesn't do immunizations for whatever reason, your parents can always go down to the school and explain that to them. But if you have shot records then you can't obviously do that. Good luck. Go get it done ASAP.
