Will I get a green card if I was married before but not divorced?

I was married before to a Filipina but she left me 5 years ago but refuses to have our marriage annulled. I am engaged to a US citizen and we plan to get married soon. If that happens, will the US government still grant me a green card even if I am still declared married when I entered the US?

  1. you can't get married if you are already married, genius.

  2. IF YOUR MARRIED YOU CANNOT GET MARRIED AGAIN.YOU MUST DIVORCE YOUR 1ST MARRIEGE AND THEN REMARRIED AGAIN THERES NO WAY YOUR ABLE TO MARRY TWICE.ALSO THE 'USCIS' WILL ASK YOU FOR THE DIVORCE PAPERS FROM YOUR DIVORCE ITS A MUST THATS THEIY SEE THOSE DOCUMENTS AND YOU CANNOT LIE TO THEM BCAUSE ANY LIE THEY FIND OUT EVERYTHING AND YOU WILL BE DENIED.

  3. No.  In the initial filing for the I-129F fiancee visa you will have to include a copy of your divorce certificate.  You cannot get married unless you are divrced or annulled.  If you do, the marriage is not valid and you are committing a serious crime, not only bigamy but immigration fraud.

  4. You polygamous marriage (marrying while legally still married) is actually a deportable offense, that would not only not provide you with no 'green-card', but could ensure your removal from the U.S.
