Will I get a letter saying that I will get my ex's stimulus check? I did get his other taxes but he still owes

If he made over $3000 last year, you will get his check if he owes you back child support.   I'm not sure if you will get a letter or not.  I just called the child support people yesterday about my child support and my ex's stimulus check and they told me it will take several weeks to get it.

You won't get the letter.  Your ex should and probably did get it and the way they worded those letters, he probably thinks he will actually get a check despite your offset against.  But he will get the letter, you will get the money - in due time.
