what would happen to me if I go back to the USA?

they repo my car because I couldnt pay anymore and I moved to Europe with my husband who is European.

I have been thinking on going on vacation to the US to see my family after two years and I am wondering if that car repo will get me arrested at the airport or something.

I am not aware of what has happened with the bank ever since.....

  1. Well they will be chasing you, but i highly doubt they will be waiting at the airport. They don't go that far, but if you haven't paid off the car and you still have outstanding payments. Debt collectors will be after you, and criminal charges will be laid

  2. Before you do anything just report it as stolen and if its a Lamboghinni Espada then kiss it goodbye!

  3. no you can not even if you stand next to a cop as your car is being repoed they will not arrest you tehy may say though **** but no tehy will not

  4. I really do not think you will get arrested.

  5. Repossession is a civil matter. You will not be arrested at the airport, or anywhere else.

  6. They don't arrest people over financial debts in this country. The most that can happen if you still owe money to the bank, is that they might still have a lien against your credit record and you'll have to pay off any debts with interest. If you don't pay it off, then you would have difficulty getting any loans, financing any purchases, renting an apartment, or getting certain jobs in the U.S.
