Will I get paid for the 4 hour orientation at Kohl's?

I just got a job at a Kohl's that is opening in my city. I have been offered the job and accepted and have to attend orientation from 5pm- 9:30pm on Tues. Will get paid for those four and a half hours?

If your employer requires you to be there, then, by definition, you are "on the clock".  Period.

I would think so. The company I work for pays new employess when they attend orientation.
