Will I get scholarship in US?

My A level results of CIE are as follows

Maths-B

Physics-D

General paper-c

Chemistry-E

I have done my IELTS and got 7.5 and planning to do SAT.If I get 2100 in SAT will I get scholarship to study in US despite my poor grades at A levels.

  1. I think it may be difficult. There are such a large number of students from overseas trying to get scholarships that they usually only can give scholarships to the applicants with very high scores/grades. 2100 would be a good score, but I'm not sure that it would make up for the A levels. The poster above me I think isn't aware that the SAT has changed from a  maximum of 1600 points to a maximum of 2400.

    It would not be impossible for you to get a scholarship though. I am not sure how the scholarships are given= try applying to study at smaller/less known schools, not the more well known ones. Those will have too many applicants. Also search online for some more sources for scholarships for international students. Good luck with your studies!


  2. If you are not AMerican, you will almost CERTAINLY get good scholarships in the US.

  4. if you get a 2100 on your SAT's you will certainly get a scholarship, because you will be THE SMARTEST PERSON ALIVE.

  5. Where I live you need a 86% average to even apply to get a scholarship, but you live in the US so you probably could.
