Question:

Will I get the job after the interview today?

I applied for a job with a major insurance company. There are different stages in the hiring process. First an online questionnaire. Then a phone interview. Then an in person interview. Well I made it through all of them and at the end of the interview today, I received an online application (only 6 hours after my interview!) which is the next step. When I went to leave after the interview, the interviewer said, "It was a real pleasure meeting you!" I think I did well. They did have me sign off on a possible investigative consumer report...eegads!

  1. Yes, you will be hired.  I am psychic and I read the tarot cards, and I foresee you being hired.

  2. Well if they don't hire you, they should've....cause just like the insurance company pin-heads of the world you are neurotically nit-picking every specific festering detail, with the skill and expertise of the most seasoned Obsessive Compulsive....take care....take care....take care....take care.....S**T, now you got me doing it.  Relax either ya get it or ya don't, stress will kill you....mellow!  Cheers from Canada.-Tripod.

  3. it sounds good, good luck

  4. They do that with everyone, but if you have the dedication, optimism, and desire, then you will get it.

  5. unless something turns up in the background check, you're in

  6. Nope, because you are a cowboys fan, and the hiring manager, is a CLEVELAND BROWNS FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Go Brownies!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. sounds promising!

  8. Hmmm...I think you have more than a chance at getting it...I think after the interview you seemed to be a great candidate for the job and so they went to the next step which was to have your background screened and needed you to OK that...I agree w/ the answere who wrote that you are in as long as the background is crisp and clean...and I believe it will be!...Good for you!...

  9. Did you ask for the job? A common mistake with people is that after the interview they don't say they want the job. Send a follow up letter and in the letter express your interest and don't be afraid to ask for the job, include one line saying "I am very interested in the job."  Good Luck.
