Will I go to college?

Question

I'm a bit worry with the classes I have now that I started high school. I'm not sure I these are the classes I should have if I want to go to college, so can you tell me if they're okay for me.

This is how it was on my schedule I received:

Period 1 - Math Prep - My teacher said it was Geometry. Is it right?

Period 2 - H Biology - I'm guessing it's honors 'cause of the 'H'.

Period 3A - Adv P.E. -

Period 3B - College Prep -

Period 4 - Health SH - This is the one I have more doubt about. And is there Honors Health?

I basically worried because I'm not taking English and it's required that I take 4 years of english in high school to go to college and I don't think I should be taking Health. Can any of you answer my questions about my classes, please.

I'm a counselor in training in CA.  So your pretty set but as you said you are missing an English class.  Is it possible that your college prep class is categorized under English and qualifies as such.  And of course Health is a requirement for a HS diploma.  It is usually a semester long and the second semester is then a computer class.  Check with your school counselor.

Go to a counselor and find out why you aren't in an English class. When I was in high school I had to take 4 years of English to graduate.
