Last year, I wasn't that smart...well, in my school we give out awards every year to the freshmans, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This girl beat me to it, and now I really want to be the valedictorian this year as a Sophomore, is it possible? Will they include my GPA from last year, too?

  1. Unless I'm mistaken, you can't be the valedictorian unless you are graduating that year and since you said you were a sophomore, you aren't graduating and aren't eligible to be your school's valedictorian.

And usually they take the person with the highest overall GPA and community service hours and extracurricular activites to be the valedictorian and since you said you didn't do that well last year, I doubt it unless you do something amazing to surpass all the smarter kids in your grade.
