Cus I googled and nobody said anything about 15e being a good arrondissement (a few, but not much). And I'll be staying there for 4 days 3 nights.

The place I'm staying is in Rue de Vaugirard (Novotel Paris Vaugirard)

I'm disappointed (my dad is too) cus I made a mistake in the booking.. :S

  1. Proabably as least as good a time as you have had asking this same question in various forms over and over and over and over and over and over again.

  2. the 15th is a classic residential area.

Rue St Michel is a nice spot to visit, full of traditional shops and boulangeries. I'd advise you to wlak all the way down til you reach the Parc André Citroen, which is worth a quick stroll. Modernist yet playful, if you go on a hot day you'll see kids running between the fountain spurts on the esplanade.

As for nightlife, metro to, taxi back, unless you're really adventurous and wait for the first metros at 5.30/6am. St Germain des Pres and the Latin Quarter are the places to go and only 15 minutes by metro, so no sweat.

What you've "saved" on the hotel (being outside of these areas means it's more moderately priced) leaves you more for taxi money. They can't rip you off, it's a taximeter.

    Have fun
