  1. the problems you might  have is your tortoise getting stressed or too cold or even the airline not wanting  to transport your tortoise, to bring a tortoise in to britain you have to have paper work to prove it is not wild caught the best thing you can do if you are thinking of moving here is to contact DEFRA here is the number of the Pet Travel Scheme Helpline: +44 (0)870 241 1710 (Monday to Friday - 8am to 6pm UK time). they will tell you what you need to bring a tortoise to Britain, you can also send an email to the tortoise trust at this address  http://www.tortoisetrust.org/ they will tell you the best way to transport a tortoise with the minimum of stress to it   it all needs to be carefully planned and sorted in advance so you have the security that your tortoise will be moved with the minimum of fuss and will be able to enter britain with you, hope all goes well if you decide to move best of luck honey
