I am a Chinese citizen who applied for permanent residency. I do not have a multiple entry visa. But I do have advanced parole but I am not sure if the cruise member knows what that is.

  1. You need to be calling the U.S. State Dept., as they are the true experts on documentation requirements.  If you rely on someone from the cruiseline, you may get incorrect information.  If you get to the pier with the wrong documentation, it's your loss.  You'll be out the money with no recourse, because the documents have fine print that says it's all your responsibility to get the right documents.  If their employees give you the wrong info, they will be held blameless, and you'll pay to be left on the pier as the ship departs.  You'll not get 1 cent of that back.  The law is on their side, so go straight to the state dept.

  2. Well if youll going in and out of the us youll have to get a multiple re entry visa for the us if youre country doesnt have a visa waiver program with your country. I think that you must check with us embassy to see if you can get this or if its other formality thats needed. Remember its going to take some time to get a visa granted.

The minimum demand for any international travelling is to have a valid passport and in most cases you have to have at least six mounth of duration left. Johan

  3. Hi dear, one of my friend travelling(from china) with me last time to carribean cruise was denied of entry to some ports.

Please confirm your cruiselines before confirming your seats.

  4. I would call the cruise line, tell them you have a question about customs, they should have all the information.  They should know about advanced parole too.
