    If you are in the US, then no, you are not required to give up your foreign passport when receiving US citizenship.

  5. when you take the oath of Allegiance you say that your become an American citizen ; so you denied officially the other country that was originally yours  so obviously your are not a French citizen anymore; but i don't really know and you have to find out at the French embassy to know about what you are supposed to know; before getting yourself in a stupid trouble.
