I am a junior in college but I haven't had a degree audit yet. I'm planning to get one asap. BUT since last year the requirement for a Spanish minor have changed from 18 to 21 hours of Spanish. Since I'm getting a degree audit now, do you think I'll have to take new 21 even though my catalog says 18?

  1. No, the change will only apply to incoming freshman and transfers.  If your catalog shows 18 hours, then that's what your minor will be based upon.

Nevertheless, I would recommend discussing this with your advisor and just getting a confirmation in writing, just to protect yourself in case their are any administrative s***w-ups, especially if you attend a large university.
