  1. I doubt it, but you do live in cali....

  2. If your license is not expired, you willl not even have to take a written test. All you will need to do is pay the reinstatment

    fee which I believe is $120.00 or $125.00 dollars.

  3. okay well the first thing you should do is either take your permit classes online at driversed.com or take classes at a driving school near you. these classes will only concern information and rules, and you will not get a chance to drive yet.

    2) once, you complete these classes, then you go to the dmv with the certificate that the driving school gives you when youre done, and you take a written test and usually a vision test, and sign a couple papers.

    3) if you pass the test, you should then schedule driving lessons either with a driving school near you or a private instructor. i suggest that you take anywhere from 3-10 lessons, depending on how comfortable you feel.

    4) once youve had your first lesson, i suggest that you drive with your parents AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. the dmv says that you should get 50 hours before you take your behind-the-wheel test. so aim for 50 hours of driving (including at night!)

    5) after you have waited six months since you got your permit, and after you feel very comfortable driving, you can go back to the dmv and take the behind-the-wheel driving test. a person will accompany you to grade on certain criteria and choose whether you pass or fail.

    6) if you fail your test the first time, you must wait a certain amount of time that the dmv tells you before you can retake it. you can take it up to 3 times before you have to restart the entire process from before you got your permit.

    good luck && happy holidays!

  4. A $125 reissue fee to the DMV and you file proof of financial responsibility.

    The reissue fee remains at $100 if you were under age 21 and were suspended under the Zero

    Tolerance Law pursuant to Vehicle Code §§23136, 13353.1, 13388, 13392. If it is determined that there is not a basis for the suspension or revocation, your driver license will be issued or returned to you.

  5. When a licence is suspended, a re-test is not necessary after the suspension period unless ordered by DMV or the courts.  If your licence is revoked, and they re-instate priviledges, driver test is definitely required.  In your case, re-test is unlikely.

  6. This question best asked to CHP.

    If it was up to me,   folks convicted of DUI or drug offenses would never get a license,  and would get any vehicle they are caught driving confiscated.
