I'm a dual citizen with Jordan and the US, last summer i went to Israel and spent 12 hours at the bridge waiting to get in. This year I have a Jordanian passport and I'm supposed to use it to enter and exit Jordan, but if I exit Jordan with the Jordanian passport and enter Israel with my American passport through the Jordan Valley crossing will they give me more trouble? I figure either way they will give me trouble but if I show them a Jordanian passport with no visas to syria or lebanon I'll have less trouble.

  1. use the American passport, and enter that "Israel"from Jordan, and you will have no problems.

  2. i would just ask them..and tell them that you have dual nationality (clearly). and be carefull...start at Jordan..they are relatively more freindly than Isrealis.

  3. Probably.  They'll look for an exit stamp from Jordan on your American passport.  You might run into questions.

  4. you will have trouble using both of them on the same trip
