Will I lose my unemployment benefits if I take a temporary Job?

If I take a temporary job while I am currently on unemployment, will I lose all of my potential benefits? Or can I resume benefits once the temporary job is over? I am in California.

The  benefits would be reduced or suspended while you were working the temp job, but could resume when the temp job was done if you haven't found another job by then.

In New Jersey if you make more than $100 a week you can no longer be on it

I would say if you get employment as a temp. that no longer qualifies you as "unemployed".   Plus, if you can get a temp. job, why not get a job-job and stop sucking off the tax dollars.
