Will I lose weight if I do this?

Will I lose weight if I eat 1500 calories a day eating 400 calories per meal and a 300 calorie snack? Im also doing cheerleading twice a week for 2 1/2 hours and tumbling for one hour and that's 6 hours of exercise. I'm also 5'4 and 122lbs. I would like to get to 100lbs. And what are some ideas for meals and snacks that are healthy and low fat? Thanks

  1. with the exercise you will be losing weight and your calorie ratio sounds perfect, but try and take in most of the calories by eating protein, because although you need carbs, most of it turns into fat.

    seriously don't listen to the girl who said 700 calories that is starving yourself and the second you start eating again your body won't be able to handle it and you will gain weight like crazy.  also try to eat only protein just before you work out.

Yeah I think that is a very good way to lose weight, I would also recommend eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism running faster than eating the regular 3 meals a day. I'm only about 2 inches taller than you and 120 lbs, I eat about 2000+ calories a day but i think i maintain my weight because i punch and kick a punching bag till my hands and legs are bruised? Uh, In any matter just keep up with the work and you should see some weight loss, I also think green tea that you boil up and stir yourself may help.

  5. You're a great weight as you are. Why would you like to lose more? But to answer your question, odds are you would lose something, if you keep very active, but you seem to already be fine.

  6. You're very active & that requires higher cals. 1500cals is smart; it's WHAT & HOW you eat that counts right now. Good protein meals will provide the NRG you need, leafy & green veggies will provide the fiber. Drink plenty of PLAIN water all day Try Chinese foods!.
