Will I lose weight if i drink 1 cup of black coffee a day?

since it makes you go to the bathroom & I heard it makes your stomach feel full

  2. You wont but it depends on what you do after you drink that coffee you might exercise or just sit around. It really depends on what you do after you drink that cup of coffee

  3. It all depends on if that is your major source of diet change.

    1 cup of coffee a day will help, but not if your consuming in excess of 2500 calories and not working out.

    Now lets say your eating 2,000 calories a day. And workoutout a couple days a week. Then yes you will lose weight, but nothing to the extent of say a pound or 2 a week. Which is the heathliest ammount to lose in such a short time.

  4. I believe coffee has no calories, the drink can be fattening once you add in the milk and sugar. I am told that coffee decreases appetite. So not only will it keep you energized, it lowers appetite, is 0 calories, and is also a diarrhetic. Seems good to me. Not sure if it will make you lose weight, but I am sure mixing a cup of coffee with overall healthy eating habits and exercise will definitely do the trick =) Good luck.

  5. perhaps. depends on when and how much and what you put in it.

    if you drink it about 30 minutes after a meal, it can act like a laxative. you wont lose any weight if you put any cream and sugar in it. i recommend just splenda.

  6. If that's the entirety of your diet plan, NO!

    1 cup of coffee a day while eating taking in 5000 calories and not exercising isn't gonna do it.  

    1 cup of coffee while exercising so you burn more calories than you take in each day, you'll lose weight, but not because of the COFFEE.  

    Coffee has caffeine, and caffeine is a stimulant.  Stimulants can act as an appetite suppressant.  One cup of coffee doesn't have that much caffeine.  

    As for the making you go to the bathroom part, again, one cup of coffee isn't going to make you go that much.  Even if you drank an entire pot of coffee and went to the bathroom a lot, you'd only be losing water weight, not burning calories and losing real weight.  Losing water weight is also known as dehydration and it's not good for you.

    Water can make you feel full too. But by drinking coffee, even black you are still adding calories that are not needed to your system. At least green tea helps increase your motabolism which will help you loose weight and is a good appitite suppresent besides just filling up with liquids. Coffe does absolutely nothing for weight loss.

    The only reason why coffee makes you go to the bathroom is becasue of the caffeine. It takes more water to process caffeine that the coffee provides. So as soon as the caffeine is processed the water used is excreted. An 8 ounce serving of coffee will make you excreet about 14 - 16 ounces of water.

    well i no that exercise is tough and dieting is harsh so i recommend trying wu yi tea i heard it does work (if not as efficiently as some people at least a bit)
