Will I lose wieght if i run 1 mile every night?

I usually run every day on a weekday. On the weekends I rest. But when I do run I usually run, but without stopping I don't stop till I have completed the mile.

  2. Running is a great way to lose weight, but you also need to make sure that your diet is right also.  If you run then sit down to a large bowl of death by chocolate ice cream its probably not going to help you out.

    Make sure you make healthy choices and watch your portion control.  Last make sure you give your body a chance to repair itself.

  3. Probably. I lost a lot of weight over a few months from walking a mile every afternoon on weekdays.

    I lost at least thirty pounds, and I didn't change my eating habits at all.

    If you're running, the results should only be better.

  4. Youre running thats great. I love running . Yes one mile a day can get you some weight loss. I'd cut back on the calories you consume still. Losing weight is about exercise AND diet. Be patient. Persistence pays off. Make running and sensible eating a lifelong commitment. It gets easy after a while. You might hopefully find yourself setting goals for you to run farther, more miles. That frees you up a little on what you can have in your diet. Do what you feel will work best for you

  6. h**l yeah. Just keep running and you'll keep losing weight. Even statistics show people who just WALK faster for about 30 minutes every day will lose weight!
