  1. You should definatly continue your training but i think it is very unlikely that you would make the 2012 olympics after that 4 year gap. However i don't know how good a swimmer your once were or are today.

  2. no no chance what so ever. you would have to break recordes between now and then even to get considered bring your dreams back to reality

  3. I would talk to your coach in making time lines and goals. Keep that goal there as a dream and make incremental goals that you can achieve annually, monthly, daily. Don't let the smaller goals or their performance effect your larger goals. I have seen it done. Especially if you are a sprinter. I have seen people start swimming seriously at the age of 18 (summer club before that) and still compete at the top of the world. I am from Canada and Brent Hayden and Rick Say I believe started and developed quite late. Good luck

  4. Depends on what country you're representing, and if you can manage to convince the Olympic Committee of that country to give you a chance, you have to meet certain lap times to be eligible to compete in the Olympic qualifiers, and if you can manage to pass those, you still have to find a way to qualify yourself into the actual competitions.

    Not impossible, but you are a longshot.  But dreams like yours have come true before, so I say GO FOR IT!!  What have you got to lose, right?

  5. So, I'm guessing you are somewhere in your mid to late 20's, at least.  Based on that alone, the chances are slim to none.

  6. maybe. depends how fast you are and how hard you train. but the chances are slim.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

  7. It is impossible because you suck balls.

  8. Well it all depends on your times but that 4 year gap probaly slowed you down alot but 10 years is along time of gettign tips and getting better times almost evert time you hop in to the pool!

      dreams are amazing if you dicipline your self enough you might MIGHT be able to eat healthy excersice [not only swim wieght lift,running,stretching.and of course SWIMMING}

    it will be tough but if its a dream you can follow with a good dose of determination and practice it can be in your range!

          when i see you in 2012 i will be amazed!!good luck you can do it !

  9. nothing is impossible.. look at dara torres who is returning to the olympic trials at 40 years old after giving birth and taking years off, she just broke an american record!

  10. depends on your time. Most unlikely to but with lots of training you might actually make it.

    Good Luck
