I have a dentist app. coming up and everyone is telling me they think I will need braces. Most think I won't need them all the way back to my molar teeth. Will I still need to get spacers before my braces?

  1. You might, it just depends on how spaced out your molar teeth are. Sometimes just for support, they still put brackets back there to make your teeth high quality. I haven't seen your teeth, so I couldn't tell you anything in specific. Good luck, I hope I helped!

  2. Yes, you will most likely need spacers.  But they're no big deal, don't worry.  And you'll have to have brackets on your back teeth regardless of how straight they currently are, because your teeth will be moving, because of the brackets and your bite will not be properly aligned if they don't put brackets back there.

  3. If your teeth aren't completely straight they will still suggest that you need braces. You will most likely get spacers because braces still go most of the way back, but they won't put them over your 12 year molars.

  4. maybe, depends on if you get bands on your teeth! but if you dont get full mouth braces, then i dont think youll need bands; which means you probably wont need spacers!
