  1. go to mexico it is nice and warm in january.

  2. I went in mid December last year and although the weather wasn't as warm as the summer it was still beautiful. Hurricane season is June thru November so I don't think you need to worry about that

  3. been to mexico 5 times in january..the further south you go the warmer .acapulco was 90 this year

  4. I think you will have a great time no matter what time of year you take a cruise.  Modern cruise ships have stabilizers which make the trip much smoother.  Also, thanks to weather satellites, they know when severe weather is coming and are easily able to avoid it.

Most importantly, the ship itself will offer lots of things to do, great food to eat...and who knows, you might not even want to leave your cabin!

    ;o)

Just relax, don't worry about anything and have a great time!

By the way, much of Mexico (the Yucatan Peninsula) is in the Caribbean.

    Good Luck!

  5. First of all, you will have a wonderful time!  You were misinformed regarding hurricanes.  Hurricane season runs from the beginning of June through the end of November in the Atlantic.  January is a perfect time to take a cruise.  I was just on a Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Legend in January of this year and it was terrific!  The weather was beautiful, and the seas were for the most part calm.

As was previously mentioned, cruise ships have stablilizers, which minimize the impact of rough seas, should you enounter them on your cruise.  The cruise ships are equipped with state of the art equipment which gives them advanced warning of storms and weather patterns.

Being in the Caribbean in January also has the added bonus of getting you away from a cold climate (if you live in one), which makes the beautiful weather even more enjoyable.

    Have a wonderful trip!

  6. find out here

  7. Some some additional information, if you do a western or mexican cruise then the waves will be even less of a problem since you are not fully exposed to the ocean at all times.  Go have fun in January!
