Will I receive a premium education from a public university like UNC or Virginia?

Please compare it to an Ivy League university.

Both are excellent institutions (if you mean Chapel Hill at UNC), and you can get an excellent education at either.  By challenging yourself, taking tough courses and taking advantage of all the programs and activities that might interest you, you can get an education that could if not rival an Ivy, certainly come close.  It's not just the reputation of the school, it's what you put into your own education that counts.
