Question:

Will I regain my form?

I was in a car crash a month ago (wasn't my fault). My head went through the windscreen, a few of my vertebrae got cracked, and I almost ended up being a paraplegic.

Before my accident I was playing excellent football and had just signed a contract to play semi-professionally ($200 a game) next year, with hopes of one day making it to the NRL. Now I cannot do any strenuous activity for the next 3 or so months. I know I will lose the strength and speed that I worked so hard to attain over the past years, and I am practically ruled out of the upcoming season.

Is there any chance of me regaining my killer form?

  1. Not worth it mate, the groundsman at Nimbin gets $200 a week, and free dope.

  2. wat form? all u need to do is run into people.

  3. no chance.

  4. honestly its unlikely although people have recovered and played professional nrl from worse injuries so i wouldn't give up.

you will eventually regain speed and strength(if you fully recover from your injury) just remember players live anthony minichello who missed pretty much a whole season and even more games here and there because of an ongoing back injury, he was barley aloud to do any physical activity for months and he is expected to make a strong comeback next year.

good luck i hope you can play at your best again in the future

i know ow frustrating it is not playing and just watching your team play, i seperated my ac joint and was out for 3/4 of this season, but you gotta stay strong.
