Will I regret being homeschooled? HELP ME!?

I have a chance to go to an online school, and I would like to for just one year (the rest of this one). I want to go cuz im sick of people at school and need a break from them, but will I regret being homeschooled for my 8th grade year? help!!

I home-schooled my son through seventh and eighth.  It was the only way for him.  Now he is back in school and loves it.  There is nothing wrong with being home-schooled except that you can't be on school grounds while you are being home-schooled so you can't attend dances or anything.  My son loved it but I wanted him to experience high school with his friends.  We have lived in the same school district all his life.  He was being bullied and the school wouldn't stop it so I took him out and taught him myself.  I don't think he regrets it but it is hard to readjust to going back to school.  Make sure the problems at school are things that you can't handle.
