Will I still be charged a monthly balance if I don't buy anything?

If I don't charge anything to my credit card, will I still have to pay some sort of bill for that month? Or will my balance be zero?

Some cards have monthly fees. If you card is one of those, you might want to look for a different one that does not charge fees.

If you have paid off your balance from the previous months, no, you don't have to pay anything. Some cards have an annual fee, though.
