I'm 16 years old and about 5'7.5 and about 135 pounds with a 5'6 dad and a 5'8 or so mom. I have size 10 feet if that changes anything. My question is, is it possible/probable for me to grow another inch or so? I think average is about 5'9 so I would be happy if I reached that as my final height.

  2. Anyting is possible. Ask your Doctor. My daughter now age 22, went to a Doctor over her back, and was told that from the exam they can tell how much longer you are to grow and how much you are to grow. Science discovers new things every day. She stopped growing too, when he told her she would. Most of the time Men/boys grow til age 22 or so, and girls til age 21 or so.

  3. Your predetermined height is based on your genetics. But that doesn't mean you can't add to your height, or tear down that foundation. males stop growing at 25 years...and women at 21, which explains the somehwat common man being taller then woman thing...you've still got 9 years left to grow if you wanna be tall. Milk before bed helps. Calcuim makes bones stronger and longer AND you grow when you sleep.

  4. Dude, your only 16...please...worry about something more important......yes, you can still grow.

  5. Your not done yet.  Different for everyone.  There are HIDDEN GENES in every family.  Don't stress about it.
