  1. That will depend on how much extra work you need to pass your GCSE Maths. In some cases it may be possible to resit in the Winter session, meaning you could be taking the test as soon as November.

You'll need to discuss it with your Maths teacher and Sixth Form leader, really.

  2. you will be ok. the first maths exam will be in june

and your alevel exams can be on january or june/july depending on what course you taken.

if your taking pshycology, exams starts on january. but if you take chemistry then it starts june/july, but you take mocks in january aswell.

  3. you retaking maths at which level? wither way it should be fine. i studied physics and did two physics retake at AS while studying for A2. and i scored higher than last year! i also resat my ict AS and scored higher too.

you will struggle if you have know clue what to do, however you should do well if you organise a time table and stick too it! thats how i achieved a higher grade

  4. Is it a AS Retake or  a GCSE retake?

GCSE retakes are in November, the first A-levels start in January, but you may only take A-levels in May, depends on the school.

If its a GCSE retake then it shouldn't be too bad, though the step upto A-Level is a big one, trust me, and it does seem hard at first, but you settle in after a while. I would say go for it, GCSE's seem a lot easier once you are doing a-levels, and this will boost your confident.
