Will I survive this terrible change?Any advice??

ok, so its not a life or death situation. but my first year of middle school starts next week, and im terribly scared. my BF dumped me bcuz we wont see each other, (hes still in elementary school, a year younger than me). I'll miss all the teachers and the little kids at elementary school,(i luv the little kids, theyre so cute n fun), and to make it even worse, me and my best friend, dont have ANY of the same classes together! Plus, I know a lot of the kids there, n theyre all jerks, who only care for themselves. Any advice?

EVERYONE is scared going from elementary into middle (and then again from middle into high school), even the "cool" kids.  Too bad about your BF, but -- trust me on this -- you will probably have many BF's before you leave for college, so consider the one who dumped you as a practice run  :)

You can still be with your best friend in after school activities, so you won't lose him or her.  Look at this transition as an opportunity to make new friends . . .come on, they're not ALL jerks in middle school.

I know your scared but it's perfectly normal to feel that way before you start school somewhere new. Believe me you're not the only one. Sometime we have bumpy starts & than things smooth over after a little time. I remember when I started middle school. I sat alone with no friends at lunch time & thought the year was going to be horrible but than this girl from one of my classes who had never talked to me before invited me to sit with her & her friends. We all became best friends & it turned out to be the best year I ever had. So just relax. Things will come together.. they just take time.

LOL, go watch "Full House". There was an episode like this where DJ was starting middle school and she was so scared. Her and Kimmy didn't have any classes together either! OMG! LOL.
